ABOUT ME

I am a content specialist by trade and a storyteller by passion.

Like many communications and writing professionals, I began my journey as a writer for my high school newspaper. I quickly developed an excitement for brainstorming topics and honed my skill for writing stories, interests that followed me to college, where I realized I just might be able to make a career out of writing.

I attended Miami of Ohio, a university 45 minutes outside of Cincinnati, and graduated Cum Laude with Bachelors of Arts in professional writing and strategic communications. From there, I moved to Chicago. My time in the Windy City was spent working in public relations and communications, where I identified my love for creating long-form content and developing a corporate content strategy.

Today, I wear the hat of content associate, focusing my efforts on writing, developing, and strategizing content for a niche audience of web designers and developers. I primarily manage Squarespace Circle’s blog over at pros.squarespace.com.

I currently live in Nashville with my Dachshund mix, Stumpy (short for Stumpalumpagus). In my spare time, I can be found trying new restaurants, throwing pottery, doing yoga or Pilates, or spending time with friends and family.
